Patone introduced it’s colors of the year for 2016 in December. All the talk was about the colors being softer and gender neutral. I saw the colors as the perfect wedding colors for this spring. Either teamed together or used independently there is lots of opportunity for a beautiful soft event.
November 3rd was a night to remember for 75 guests attending a fundraiser for Hope Lodge Lubbock. In a beautiful home setting the guest dinned on brioche with caviar, poached grouper and sous vide short ribs prepared by some of the best and brightest chefs in San Francisco and Denver.

I just saw a Q&A in a popular bridal magazine about the use of seating cards at a wedding. Place cards, escort cards and table numbers all have an important purpose at a formal wedding. The cards help to guide guest to their seat for the reception. As Wendy has noted in the past “Nothing is more exciting than seeing your name written beautifully on a lovely set table.”
New for Wendelline Papers is Wendy’s calligraphy on our place cards. She has designed 6 new fonts just for WP. Traditional place card and escort calligraphy hand lettering are available depending on your event needs. Place cards with one name start at $2.70 each. Escort cards have one name and the table number pricing starts at $3.20. See all the place card designs at www.wendellinepapers.com

Wendy just finished working with Crown Wedding in San Diego on this cool contemporary wedding. She did the calligraphy on the rose boxes that defined the ceremony area. These words described the base of the couple’s relationship.
So, what exactly is a bohemian wedding?
If you wikipedia bohemian it gives this definition of bohemianism…Bohemianism is the practice of an unconventional lifestyle, often in the company of like-minded people, with few permanent ties, involving musical, artistic or literary pursuits. In this context, Bohemians can be wanderers, adventurers, or vagabonds.
